  1. Develop and implement nursing practice standards and guidelines for the Radiology department in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  2. Collaborate with the Radiology team to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient care.
  3. Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff in the Radiology department to maintain and improve their skills and knowledge.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by the Radiology department and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
  5. Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support for complex patient cases.
  6. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of practice in the Radiology department.
  7. Foster a culture of patient-centered care and ensure that all patient care activities are carried out with compassion, empathy, and respect.
  8. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and make recommendations for best practices.
  9. Stay current with developments and advancements in radiology nursing practice and share knowledge with the team.
  10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination and continuity of care for patients in the Radiology department.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
  12. Serve as a role model for nursing staff, demonstrating professionalism, expertise, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
  13. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the hospital in achieving its goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Massachusetts.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Radiology Nursing.

  • Certification As A Radiology Nurse (Crn) From The Radiologic Nursing Certification Board (Rncb).

  • Advanced Practice Nursing Degree (Msn) With A Specialization In Radiology Nursing.
