  1. Oversee and coordinate the delivery of exceptional patient care services within the Medicine department.
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest level of care for patients.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality of patient care within the Medicine department.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, staff, and patients.
  7. Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement within the Medicine department.
  8. Monitor and manage department budget and resources.
  9. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for nursing staff.
  10. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to inform decision making and improve patient care.
  11. Serve as a role model for ethical and professional behavior.
  12. Represent the Medicine department in hospital-wide meetings and initiatives.
  13. Participate in the hiring, training, and development of nursing staff.
  14. Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to nursing practices within the Medicine department.
  15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports related to patient care and department operations.
  16. Act as a liaison between nursing staff and other departments within the hospital.
  17. Handle any issues or concerns related to patient care or staff performance in a timely and effective manner.
  18. Promote a culture of patient-centered care and customer service.
  19. Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for nursing staff.
  20. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting

  • Current And Valid Nursing License In The State Of Massachusetts

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Nursing Best Practices, Policies, And Procedures

  • Strong Communication, Organizational, And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments.
