  1. Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to oncology patients undergoing chemotherapy and other infusion treatments.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Monitor and assess patient responses to treatments, identify and report any changes in condition.
  4. Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and guidelines.
  5. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, potential side effects, and self-care strategies.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including medication administration and treatment documentation.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  8. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in oncology nursing.
  10. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and developments in oncology nursing through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  11. Demonstrate excellent clinical skills and critical thinking abilities to provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical needs.
  12. Show empathy, sensitivity, and support to patients and their families during their cancer journey.
  13. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and facilitate patient care.
  14. Maintain a professional and ethical demeanor at all times, adhering to the hospital's standards and code of conduct.
  15. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to patient privacy and confidentiality.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Massachusetts.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In An Oncology Infusion Setting.

  • Chemotherapy And Biotherapy Provider Certification.

  • Bls And Acls Certification From The American Heart Association.
