
Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Palliative Care

Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent care and support to patients and families facing serious illness through clinical practice and communication.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure patient needs are being met.
- Mentor and lead other medical staff in palliative care.
- Manage patient care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on palliative care treatments.
- Ensure that all palliative care services provided comply with hospital policies and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress.
- Remain up-to-date on evidence-based clinical practices and treatments.
- Participate in research activities related to palliative care.
- Maintain a compassionate and caring atmosphere for patients and families.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Board Certification As A Nurse Practitioner (Np) In Palliative Care
Current Massachusetts Rn Licensure
At Least Years Of Experience In Palliative Care
Knowledge And Experience In The Practice Of Palliative Care
Familiarity With Principles Of Pain And Symptom Management
