  1. Provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders under the guidance of the neurosurgery team.
  2. Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians.
  3. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  4. Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
  5. Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventative measures.
  6. Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
  8. Adhere to all hospital and regulatory standards, policies, and protocols.
  9. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills in neurosurgery.
  10. Foster a compassionate and supportive environment for patients and their families.
  11. Collaborate with community resources to ensure continuity of care for patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Master Of Science In Nursing (Msn) Degree With A Specialization In Neurosurgery

  • Current And Unrestricted License To Practice As A Nurse Practitioner In The State Of Massachusetts

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Nurse Practitioner In A Neurosurgery Setting

  • Certification As A Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner (Cns-Np) From A Nationally Recognized Certification Body

  • Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge In Neurosurgical Procedures, Treatments, And Management Of Patients With Complex Neurological Conditions.
