- Provide exceptional care and treatment to inpatient medicine patients at the Faulkner building of Massachusetts General Hospital.
- Utilize expert knowledge and skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitor and document patient progress, and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and follow established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to anticipate and respond to potential patient complications.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice.
- Continuously participate in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during their hospital stay.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Required For This Position, With Preference Given To Candidates With A Master's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field.
Current Rn License: Candidates Must Possess A Current, Valid Rn License In The State Of Massachusetts Or Be Eligible To Obtain One Upon Hire.
Inpatient Medicine Experience: Previous Experience In An Inpatient Medicine Setting Is Highly Desirable For This Role, As It Requires Knowledge And Skills Specific To Caring For Acutely Ill Patients.
Strong Clinical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Strong Clinical Background And Be Proficient In Performing Patient Assessments, Administering Medications, And Providing Quality Patient Care.
Team Player: A Successful Candidate Will Be A Collaborative Team Player, Able To Work Effectively With Physicians, Other Nurses, And Support Staff To Provide Exceptional Patient Care. They Should Also Possess Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Prioritize And Multitask In A Fast-Paced Environment.
