  1. Conduct and interpret MRI scans for patients in a timely and accurate manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiography Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In The Field Of Radiography Is Essential For A Mri Technologist Position At Massachusetts General Hospital. This Includes A Bachelor's Degree From An Accredited Program, With Coursework In Anatomy, Physiology, And Radiographic Procedures.

  • Arrt Certification: The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Certification Is A Well-Recognized Qualification For Mri Technologists. Candidates Must Pass A Comprehensive Exam To Become Certified, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Competency In The Field.

  • State Licensure: In Addition To Arrt Certification, Massachusetts General Hospital May Require Mri Technologists To Hold A Valid State License. This Ensures That Candidates Have Met All Necessary Requirements And Are Legally Allowed To Perform Mri Procedures.

  • Prior Experience With Mri Technology: While Not Always Required, Experience Working With Mri Technology Is Highly Desirable For A Mri Technologist Position At Massachusetts General Hospital. This May Include Experience Operating Mri Machines, Performing Procedures, And Interpreting Images.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Mri Technologists Must Have Excellent Communication Skills In Order To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. They Must Also Possess Strong Interpersonal Skills To Make Patients Feel Comfortable During Procedures And To Work Well As Part Of A Healthcare Team.
