Mental Health Tech Per Diem Adult Inpatient

Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed therapist.
2. Monitor and document patient behaviors, progress, and vital signs.
3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
4. Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and eating, for patients with physical limitations.
5. Offer emotional support and comfort to patients during their recovery journey.
6. Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
7. Observe and report any changes in patient behavior or physical condition to the appropriate healthcare professional.
8. Encourage and assist patients in participating in therapeutic activities and group sessions.
9. Help to de-escalate and manage any potential crisis situations.
10. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations regarding patient care and safety.
11. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment.
12. Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings to enhance knowledge and skills.
13. Serve as a positive role model for patients, demonstrating empathy, compassion, and professionalism.
14. Maintain confidentially and respect for patients' rights and privacy.
