  1. Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently in the Blood Bank department.
  2. Ensure compliance with all safety and quality assurance standards.
  3. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
  4. Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure timely and accurate testing of blood products.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests performed.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during testing.
  8. Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with new technologies and techniques.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field

  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) By The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Blood Bank/Immunohematology Laboratory Setting

  • Knowledge Of Blood Banking Principles, Procedures, And Regulations

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, Team-Oriented Environment.
