  1. Provide exceptional care to patients: The primary responsibility of the Medical Assistant/Urology Technician I will be to provide high-quality care to our patients in accordance with our hospital's mission and values.
  2. Assist with medical procedures: The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Urologist and other medical staff with various medical procedures, such as catheterization, urinary tract examinations, and urological surgeries.
  3. Conduct patient intake and assessments: The candidate will be responsible for conducting initial patient assessments, taking vital signs, and obtaining medical histories to assist the medical team in providing accurate and effective care.
  4. Maintain patient records: The candidate will be responsible for accurately recording and maintaining patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  5. Sterilize medical equipment: The candidate will be responsible for sterilizing and maintaining medical equipment used in urological procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
  6. Educate patients: The candidate will be responsible for educating patients and their families on urological conditions, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote overall well-being.
  7. Collaborate with the medical team: The candidate will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients.
  8. Handle administrative tasks: The candidate will be responsible for scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient information to ensure smooth operations within the urology department.
  9. Adhere to safety protocols: The candidate will be responsible for following all safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  10. Continuously update knowledge: The candidate will be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest developments in urology and medical technology to provide the best possible care to patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficiency In Electronic Medical Record Systems And Basic Computer Skills.

  • Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Equivalent Certification From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In Urology.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures Related To Urology.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Diverse Team Environment.
