
Lead Cashier
As the Lead Cashier at Massachusetts General Hospital, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the hospital’s cash register and cashiering activities. We are looking for an experienced, organized, and customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as at least one year of cashier experience. Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the hospital’s cash register
- Supervise and train other cashiers
- Ensure accuracy of all cash transactions
- Balance daily cash register receipts
- Maintain records of all cash transactions
- Resolve customer complaints and inquiries
- Promote a positive customer service environment
- Enforce safety regulations and procedures
- Develop and implement cashiering procedures
- Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed
