Job Description

The Inventory Coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital plays an integral role in keeping the hospital running smoothly and efficiently. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can easily adapt to changing requirements. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The successful Inventory Coordinator will possess a minimum of two years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other inventory control software. Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock movement
  • Monitor inventory levels in the hospital and identify potential shortages
  • Ensure that all inventory is stored securely and in accordance with safety regulations
  • Monitor and report any discrepancies in stock levels
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain necessary supplies and equipment
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient inventory management
  • Receive and process orders for supplies and equipment
  • Utilize inventory control software to track stock movements and generate reports
  • Ensure all inventory is accurately tracked and reported
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
