  1. Provide critical support to interventional radiology procedures, including assisting with equipment set-up, patient positioning, and monitoring vital signs.
  2. Collaborate with the interventional radiology team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, taking direction from nurses, physicians, and technologists.
  3. Maintain a safe and clean environment in the interventional radiology suite, following infection control protocols and proper handling of equipment and supplies.
  4. Assist with patient care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as needed and directed by the nursing team.
  5. Monitor patients for changes in condition and report any concerns or abnormalities to the nursing team.
  6. Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner, including vital signs, intake and output, and other pertinent data.
  7. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during interventional radiology procedures.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as ethical and legal standards, in the delivery of patient care.
  9. Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to interventional radiology procedures and patient care.
  10. Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude at all times, promoting a positive and welcoming environment for patients, families, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Certification As A Nursing Assistant In The State Of Massachusetts.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Nursing Assistant In A Hospital Setting.

  • Completion Of An Accredited Training Program In Interventional Radiology.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Radiology Procedures And Equipment, Including Image-Guided Interventions And Sedation Monitoring.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team, With Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills.
