Job Description

As an HR Business Partner at Massachusetts General Hospital, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our strategic objectives. You will be responsible for providing guidance and support to our leadership and staff on human resource management topics. The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for helping to create a culture of excellence, strong problem solving skills, and experience in the HR field. Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as a strategic partner to leadership and staff, providing guidance and support on human resource management topics.
  2. Contribute to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, and procedures related to human resource management.
  3. Develop and maintain an effective system for the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention of employees.
  4. Provide guidance to leadership and staff on performance management, employee relations, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  5. Monitor organizational trends, such as staff turnover, and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Generate and analyze reports related to employee performance and engagement.
  7. Develop and facilitate training programs and workshops related to human resource topics.
  8. Manage employee benefits and other related programs.
  9. Remain current on relevant HR trends and best practices.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and alignment of HR initiatives.
