We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as the Emergency Department Operations Team Lead.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring all tasks and duties are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  2. Lead, train, and motivate a team of emergency department staff, including nurses, doctors, and technicians, to provide high-quality patient care.
  3. Collaborate with other department leaders to develop and implement strategies to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Emergency Department.
  4. Create and maintain schedules for the Emergency Department staff, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
  5. Monitor and track department performance metrics, including patient wait times, staff productivity, and patient satisfaction, and make adjustments as needed.
  6. Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as state and federal laws.
  7. Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and other hospital departments to ensure a positive patient experience.
  8. Manage and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise within the Emergency Department team.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and implement new processes and procedures to enhance the department's operations.
  10. Serve as a role model for professionalism, excellence in patient care, and teamwork within the Emergency Department and the hospital as a whole.
  11. Collaborate with the Human Resources department to recruit and onboard new Emergency Department staff members.
  12. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to staff to maintain a high level of performance and job satisfaction.
  13. Plan and facilitate department meetings and trainings to ensure staff are informed and up-to-date on policies, procedures, and any changes in protocols.
  14. Act as a liaison between the Emergency Department and other hospital departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  15. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the department's operations, including patient records, inventory, and budgeting.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working In A Hospital Emergency Department Setting.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Healthcare Professionals.

  • In-Depth Understanding Of Emergency Department Operations, Including Triage Protocols, Patient Flow, And Regulatory Compliance.

  • Experience With Project Management, Process Improvement, And Data Analysis In A Healthcare Setting.
