
ED Treatment Area Coordinator
Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking an experienced and talented ED Treatment Area Coordinator to join our dynamic Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate for this role will be a critical thinker and a motivated self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills.The ED Treatment Area Coordinator will be responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department Treatment Area, including supervision and coordination of staff, patient flow management, and logistical support. This position requires a compassionate individual who is committed to providing quality care and customer service to every patient.To be successful in this role, the ED Treatment Area Coordinator must have a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an Emergency Department. Additionally, this role requires the candidate to have strong knowledge of medical terminology, patient flow management, and applicable regulations. Candidates must also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate ED Treatment Area staff.
- Monitor and manage patient flow.
- Provide logistical support to the ED Treatment Area.
- Ensure quality care and customer service to all patients.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, patient flow management, and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide the highest quality of care to patients and their families.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor performance of staff members and provide feedback and coaching.
- Provide ongoing training and development for staff members.
Excellent Organizational And Communication Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration Or Related Field
Knowledge Of Hospital Operations
At Least Years Of Experience In A Hospital Setting
