Dental Hygienist

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient health and safety, as well as a passion for promoting oral health and hygiene. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a two-year degree in Dental Hygiene, as well as a valid license to practice in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently, and superior organizational skills. Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality dental hygiene care to patients in accordance with the standards of practice and regulations of the state • Utilize appropriate preventive and educational techniques to promote optimal dental health • Maintain patient records, update patient information, and process payments • Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene and the necessary steps to maintain oral health • Perform diagnostic and prophylactic procedures, such as taking and developing X-rays and applying fluoride and sealants • Clean and polish teeth, remove deposits and stains from teeth, and apply protective sealants • Perform periodontal scaling and root planning procedures • Assess patient oral health and diagnose oral diseases • Maintain a clean and organized work environment • Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure the best patient experience
