  1. Develop and implement communication strategies to promote diversity, inclusion, and equitable practices within Massachusetts General Hospital.
  2. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of equity programs and initiatives.
  3. Create and manage a calendar of events and activities related to diversity and inclusion, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  4. Serve as the main point of contact for all internal and external communications related to equity and diversity initiatives.
  5. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
  6. Work closely with the hospital's leadership to develop and implement long-term plans and goals for promoting diversity and inclusion.
  7. Coordinate and facilitate training and educational programs for staff and leadership on diversity, equity, and inclusion topics.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations and community partners to further promote equity and diversity.
  9. Stay updated on current trends and best practices in diversity and inclusion to continuously improve the hospital's efforts.
  10. Serve as an advocate for diversity and inclusion within the hospital and promote a culture of equity and inclusivity.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Program Coordination Or Project Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Non-Profit Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Equity, Diversity, And Inclusion Principles And Best Practices.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Diverse Stakeholders.

  • Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Deadlines Simultaneously.
