
Clinical Veterinarian
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Clinical Veterinarian to join the team at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who is committed to providing exceptional care to our animal patients.The Clinical Veterinarian will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care of a variety of animals brought to MGH. The successful candidate will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of veterinary medicine and a solid understanding of animal anatomy and physiology. This individual should also possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the clinical staff.We are seeking a qualified candidate with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine Degree from an accredited university, as well as a valid Massachusetts veterinary medical license. Previous experience in a veterinary hospital setting is preferred. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, treat, and provide ongoing care for a variety of animals brought to MGH.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of veterinary medicine and animal anatomy and physiology.
- Collaborate effectively with clinical staff through excellent communication skills.
- Maintain a valid Massachusetts veterinary medical license.
- Utilize previous experience in a veterinary hospital setting.
- Provide exceptional care to animal patients.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
- Document patient treatments and assessments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Stay abreast of new developments in veterinary medicine and best practices.
