- Develop and implement clinical trial protocols in collaboration with the research team to ensure the safe and efficient execution of trials.
- Review and analyze study protocols, drug dosing and interactions, adverse events, and other relevant data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to the clinical trials, including drug accountability logs, study reports, and regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication management and patient safety during the trials.
- Oversee the procurement, storage, and dispensing of study drugs in accordance with regulatory and institutional policies.
- Monitor the progress of clinical trials, identify any issues or discrepancies, and propose solutions to ensure timely completion and accuracy of data.
- Train and educate research staff on the proper handling, storage, and administration of study drugs and protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all clinical trial activities and ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to review study progress, discuss adverse events, and provide recommendations for protocol modifications.
- Stay current with developments in the field of clinical research and pharmacy to ensure the highest level of care and innovation for our patients.
Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Pharmacy School.
Current And Active Pharmacist License In The State Of Massachusetts.
Certification In Clinical Trials Pharmacy (Cctp) Or Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (Bcps) Preferred.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Research Setting.
Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) Guidelines For Conducting Clinical Trials.
