
Clinical Research Manager
Massachusetts General Hospital is looking for a knowledgeable and organized Clinical Research Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our clinical research team, ensuring all research is conducted according to ethical standards and protocols, and managing the day-to-day operations of our clinical research department.To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as life sciences, health sciences, or medicine; at least three years of experience in clinical research management; and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. You should also be highly detail-oriented and possess the ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.We are looking for a driven and motivated professional who is passionate about clinical research and making a difference in the healthcare field. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of clinical research staff, setting goals and providing guidance to ensure work is completed efficiently and according to ethical standards and protocols.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinical research department, including personnel management, budgeting, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain research protocols and procedures to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Monitor clinical research activities to ensure compliance with regulations and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful execution of research projects.
- Analyze research results and write reports with recommendations for further research.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external research partners, sponsors, and vendors.
- Supervise and mentor research staff, ensuring they are trained and up-to-date on best practices and regulations.
- Manage team workloads and prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advances in clinical research to ensure best practices are followed.
