- Develop and implement research protocols in collaboration with physicians and researchers in the Thoracic Surgery department.
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of clinical research studies, including participant recruitment, data collection, and study procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of study data and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of study protocols, consent forms, and other necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with study sponsors and regulatory bodies to ensure timely and accurate completion of all study-related activities.
- Train and supervise research staff, including recruiting, hiring, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Monitor and manage study budgets, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Communicate regularly with study participants and their families to provide updates on study progress and address any concerns or questions.
- Contribute to the dissemination of study findings through presentations and publications.
- Stay current with developments in the field of thoracic surgery and clinical research to inform study design and implementation.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Nursing, Biology, Or Health Sciences.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Clinical Research, Preferably In The Area Of Thoracic Surgery.
Strong Understanding Of Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) Guidelines And Regulatory Requirements For Clinical Trials.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With A Multidisciplinary Team, Patients, And Sponsors.
Proficient In Data Management And Analysis, Including Experience With Electronic Data Capture Systems And Statistical Software.
