- Manage and coordinate clinical research studies, including recruitment, enrollment, and follow-up of study participants.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards set forth by the hospital and governing bodies.
- Collaborate with research team members, including physicians, nurses, and laboratory staff, to develop and implement research protocols and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of study data, including participant information, test results, and adverse events.
- Monitor study progress and provide regular updates to the research team and principal investigator.
- Assist with the development and submission of regulatory documents and protocols to institutional review boards.
- Communicate and collaborate with external stakeholders, such as pharmaceutical companies and research sponsors, to facilitate study activities.
- Participate in training and education programs to stay informed of new research developments and regulations.
- Provide support to study participants and their families, ensuring a positive and compassionate experience throughout the research process.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during the course of the study, working with the research team to find solutions and ensure study success.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new research initiatives and protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and improving patient outcomes through research.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and efficiency.
- Serve as a liaison between the research team and other hospital departments, ensuring smooth communication and coordination of activities.
- Assist with data analysis and interpretation, as needed.
- Adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and other relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Stay informed of industry and research trends and developments to identify potential opportunities for growth and improvement within the department.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, promoting a collaborative and supportive work culture.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the principal investigator or research team leader.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Biology, Health Sciences, Or Nursing.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Clinical Research, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.
Knowledge Of Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) And Other Regulatory Guidelines.
Strong Organizational And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Multitask And Work Independently.
Experience With Electronic Data Capture Systems And Proficiency In Microsoft Office Programs.
