- Conduct and manage clinical research studies in accordance with hospital policies and protocols.
- Recruit and screen potential research participants, ensuring eligibility and informed consent.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and facilitate study procedures and visits.
- Maintain accurate and organized study documentation, including participant records and study data.
- Adhere to regulatory and ethical guidelines, such as HIPAA and Good Clinical Practice (GCP), in all research activities.
- Prepare and submit study protocols, amendments, and progress reports to the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
- Assist with the development and maintenance of study budgets and track expenses.
- Coordinate study-related meetings and communicate with study team members and external collaborators.
- Ensure timely and accurate data collection, entry, and management using electronic data capture systems.
- Conduct quality control assessments and resolve data discrepancies.
- Communicate with study sponsors and assist with study-related audits and inspections.
- Stay current on developments in the field of clinical research and attend relevant trainings and conferences.
- Contribute to the writing and preparation of study reports and publications.
- Provide support and guidance to study team members, including research assistants and interns.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment and represent the hospital in a professional manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In A Health-Related Field Such As Nursing, Biology, Or Psychology
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Clinical Research Or Healthcare Environment
Knowledge Of Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) Guidelines And Regulatory Requirements For Conducting Clinical Trials
Strong Organizational And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team
Proficiency In Electronic Data Management Systems And Microsoft Office Applications.
