- Assist with the coordination and implementation of clinical research studies at Massachusetts General Hospital.
- Collect and organize data from research participants, including medical histories, laboratory results, and other relevant information.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of research procedures and participant data.
- Communicate with study participants to schedule appointments, provide instructions, and answer any questions.
- Collaborate with physicians and scientists to ensure compliance with research protocols and regulations.
- Prepare research materials and assist with study procedures, such as administering treatments or performing tests.
- Monitor and report any adverse events or complications during the course of the study.
- Assist with data analysis and interpretation to contribute to the overall findings of the research.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all ethical and legal standards in regards to participant data and research procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with research protocols and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between the research team and study participants, providing support and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Contribute to the dissemination of research findings through presentations and publications.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the course of the study.
- Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline research processes.
- Ensure adherence to all institutional policies and procedures related to research.
Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Psychology, Or Public Health.
Prior Experience Working In A Research Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Familiarity With Research Methodologies And Data Collection Techniques.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Team Of Researchers And Healthcare Professionals.
