  1. Oversee and manage the nursing staff, ensuring proper staffing levels, scheduling, and supervision.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  3. Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  4. Serve as a mentor and leader to the nursing staff, providing guidance and support for professional growth and development.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  6. Maintain a safe and clean working environment for patients and staff.
  7. Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
  8. Manage and allocate department resources, including budget and supplies.
  9. Participate in recruitment and hiring of nursing staff, as well as performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
  10. Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and other departments within the hospital.
  11. Implement and oversee education and training programs for nursing staff, including continuing education opportunities.
  12. Facilitate communication and collaboration between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  13. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring that their needs and concerns are addressed in a timely and respectful manner.
  14. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in healthcare to continuously improve patient care.
  15. Promote a positive and supportive work culture within the nursing department.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Massachusetts, With A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Hospital Setting.

  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Institution. Master Of Science In Nursing (Msn) Preferred.

  • Previous Management Or Leadership Experience, Preferably In A Clinical Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Standards, Including Joint Commission Accreditation And State And Federal Laws.

  • Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team.
