1. Assist in the collection and processing of patient samples according to established protocols and procedures.
2. Perform various laboratory tests and procedures under the direction of a supervisor or senior technician.
3. Maintain and organize laboratory equipment and supplies to ensure efficient and accurate testing.
4. Record and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
5. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
6. Collaborate with other members of the laboratory team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.
7. Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
8. Keep up-to-date with new technology and techniques in the field of laboratory testing and implement them when appropriate.
9. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals by answering inquiries and addressing concerns.
10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
11. Act as a mentor to new laboratory assistants and provide training as needed.

14. Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
