Job Description

Massachusetts General Hospital is looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Clinical Data Manager. This individual will be responsible for managing and overseeing the collection, analysis, and interpretation of clinical data and statistics. The ideal candidate should have an advanced degree in a scientific field, such as Biostatistics, Informatics, or Epidemiology, as well as a minimum of three years of experience in a clinical data management role. In this role, you will be working closely with clinicians, researchers, and other members of our teams to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our clinical data. You must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work well under pressure. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of clinical data and statistics.
  2. Work closely with clinicians, researchers, and other members of our teams to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our clinical data.
  3. Develop and implement processes for tracking and monitoring data quality.
  4. Create and maintain databases and related systems to support clinical data management activities.
  5. Produce reports and presentations to communicate data analysis and insights.
  6. Provide input and advice on best practices for clinical data management.
  7. Identify and evaluate potential data sources.
  8. Stay up to date with relevant new technologies and methodologies.
  9. Ensure compliance with regulatory and privacy standards.
  10. Troubleshoot data-related issues.
