
Child Life Specialist, Pediatrics
Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a highly motivated Child Life Specialist to join our pediatric team. This individual will be responsible for providing therapeutic interventions for children and families in order to make their hospital experience as positive as possible. The Child Life Specialist will be a part of a comprehensive team and will collaborate with other disciplines and departments to provide effective care.The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in child life or related field, certification as a Child Life Specialist, and at least two years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting working with children. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be able to provide emotional support to patients and families in a caring and compassionate manner. Responsibilities:
