We at Massachusetts General Hospital are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our esteemed anesthesia team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing the highest quality anesthesia care to our patients and a commitment to upholding the hospital's values of patient-first care. As a CRNA at Massachusetts General Hospital, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our patients’ lives.The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a master's degree in nurse anesthesia, current licensure with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing, and certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. In addition, the successful candidate must have demonstrated experience in labor and delivery, trauma, and the operating room. To be considered for this role, we require a minimum of two years of experience providing anesthesia care.We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, with excellent communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and must demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide the highest quality anesthesia care to patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
  2. Monitor patient status and respond to changes in patient condition.
  3. Uphold the hospital’s values of patient-first care.
  4. Administer anesthesia in labor and delivery, trauma, and the operating room.
  5. Maintain current licensure with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
  6. Maintain certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
  7. Foster a collaborative work environment with medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
  8. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures regarding patient care and safety.
  9. Monitor patient progress and document information in patient charts.
  10. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
