
Cardiovascular/Radiology Technologist (Cath Lab)
At Massachusetts General Hospital, we seek an experienced, highly motivated, and compassionate Cath Lab Technologist to join our Cardiovascular/Radiology team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing patients for a variety of advanced cardiovascular and radiological procedures, as well as assisting physicians in evaluating and diagnosing patient conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated health care professionals and be a part of a top-tier medical center.We are seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with the following qualifications: a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); at least two years of experience in Cardiovascular/Radiology Technology; and excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients and physicians. Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for advanced cardiovascular and radiology procedures.
- Assist physicians in evaluating and diagnosing patient conditions.
- Maintain current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Provide excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients and physicians.
- Think quickly and respond to changing environments.
- Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Document patient care information accurately and thoroughly.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to physicians.
- Ensure that all equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
