Job Description

At Massachusetts General Hospital, we seek an experienced, highly motivated, and compassionate Cath Lab Technologist to join our Cardiovascular/Radiology team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing patients for a variety of advanced cardiovascular and radiological procedures, as well as assisting physicians in evaluating and diagnosing patient conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated health care professionals and be a part of a top-tier medical center.We are seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with the following qualifications: a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); at least two years of experience in Cardiovascular/Radiology Technology; and excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients and physicians. Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare patients for advanced cardiovascular and radiology procedures.
  2. Assist physicians in evaluating and diagnosing patient conditions.
  3. Maintain current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  4. Provide excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients and physicians.
  5. Think quickly and respond to changing environments.
  6. Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
  7. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  8. Document patient care information accurately and thoroughly.
  9. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to physicians.
  10. Ensure that all equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
