1. Greet and welcome patients, staff, and visitors to the hospital cafeteria in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
3. Maintain a clean and organized cafeteria, including tables, chairs, counters, and food display areas.
4. Monitor and restock food and beverage items, ensuring an adequate supply is available at all times.
5. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, following proper cash handling procedures.
6. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and service.
7. Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking of supplies.
8. Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any questions or concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner.
9. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even during busy and stressful periods.
10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to food safety, infection control, and customer service.
11. Participate in training and development opportunities to improve knowledge and skills.
12. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by working well with team members and other hospital staff.
13. Continuously seek ways to improve the cafeteria experience for customers, suggesting ideas and initiatives to management.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
