  1. Conduct statistical analysis of data collected by the Psychiatry department to identify patterns and trends.
  2. Collaborate with mental health professionals to design research studies and develop appropriate data collection methods.
  3. Develop statistical models and algorithms to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
  4. Communicate findings and recommendations to the Psychiatry team in a clear and concise manner.
  5. Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of data.
  6. Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of biostatistics and apply new techniques and methods to improve data analysis.
  7. Assist in the preparation of research proposals and grant applications.
  8. Provide statistical support for clinical trials and other research projects within the Psychiatry department.
  9. Train and mentor other team members on statistical techniques and data analysis methods.
  10. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient data and adhere to all ethical and legal standards.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and institutions on interdisciplinary research projects.
  12. Participate in professional conferences and workshops to stay current with industry developments and share knowledge with the team.
  13. Contribute to publications and presentations of research findings.
  14. Work closely with the IT department to ensure proper storage and management of data.
  15. Provide guidance and support for the development of data collection tools and databases.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Biostatistics Or Related Field (E.g. Statistics, Epidemiology)

  • Experience Working With Psychiatric Data And Knowledge Of Mental Health Research Methods

  • Proficiency In Statistical Programming Software (E.g. Sas, R)

  • Strong Understanding Of Clinical Trial Design And Analysis

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, Including The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Statistical Concepts To Non-Technical Audiences.
