  1. Conduct individual counseling sessions with patients struggling with mental health issues, utilizing evidence-based techniques and interventions.
  2. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for patients.
  4. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  5. Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in acute distress.
  6. Stay current with new developments and best practices in the field of behavioral health counseling.

  11. Collaborate with insurance companies and other third-party payers to obtain authorization for services and ensure timely reimbursement.

  13. Participate in hospital-wide initiatives and committees related to behavioral health services.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Or A Related Field From An Accredited University

  • Active License As A Mental Health Counselor (Lmhc) Or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw) In The State Of Massachusetts

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Providing Clinical Counseling Services In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In The Field Of Behavioral Health

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities For Various Mental Health Disorders, Such As Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy And Dialectical Behavior Therapy

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Effectively Engage With Clients From Diverse Backgrounds.
