- Assist Anesthesiologists: Work closely with anesthesiologists to provide support during surgeries and procedures.
- Prepare equipment and supplies: Set up and prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies for use in surgeries and procedures.
- Monitor patients: Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures and alert the anesthesiologist of any changes or concerns.
- Assist with patient positioning: Help position patients for procedures and surgeries, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization: Keep the operating room and anesthesia equipment clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Troubleshoot equipment: Identify and troubleshoot any issues with anesthesia equipment, ensuring that it is in proper working condition.
- Maintain inventory: Keep track of anesthesia supplies and equipment inventory, restocking as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and equipment.
- Document procedures: Accurately document all procedures and patient information in medical records.
- Train and educate: Train and educate new staff members on anesthesia procedures and safety protocols.
- Stay updated on industry developments: Continuously stay updated on advancements and changes in the field of anesthesia to ensure best practices are being followed.
- Provide excellent patient care: Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients throughout their procedures.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Certification As An Anesthesia Technician From A Recognized Program Or Organization
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working As An Anesthesia Technician In A Hospital Setting
