
Ambulatory Nurse, Primary Care
We are looking for an experienced Ambulatory Nurse, Primary Care to join the Massachusetts General Hospital team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care, an eagerness to stay up to date with best practices, and a commitment to the highest standards of professional excellence. The Ambulatory Nurse, Primary Care will have a range of clinical responsibilities, from providing direct patient care to contributing to the development of evidence-based protocols and clinical standards. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in an ambulatory care setting, possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license, and have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. The Ambulatory Nurse will also need to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities of an Ambulatory Nurse, Primary Care: • Provide direct patient care according to evidence-based protocols and clinical standards • Monitor patient progress and document any changes in the patient’s condition • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and their families • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance • Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed • Assist in the development of evidence-based protocols and clinical standards • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team • Remain up to date on best practices in the field of ambulatory care
Experience With Electronic Health Records
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing
Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse License
Current Basic Life Support Certification
Knowledge Of Ambulatory Care Nursing Practice
Previous Nursing Experience In A Primary Care Setting
Excellent Communication And Patient Assessment Skills
