- Serve as the main point of contact for administrative and insurance-related inquiries, both internally and externally.
- Coordinate and manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and handling correspondence.
- Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
- Communicate with insurance providers and patients to resolve any insurance-related issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance policies and procedures to provide accurate and helpful information to patients and staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper documentation and billing procedures are followed.
- Conduct regular audits of insurance claims and billing processes to identify and resolve any errors or discrepancies.
- Monitor and maintain patient accounts to ensure accuracy and timely reimbursement.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in insurance policies and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy in billing processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing any concerns or questions related to insurance coverage or billing.
- Train and assist other administrative staff in insurance-related tasks and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient information.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of administrative and insurance functions.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Administrative Coordination Or Insurance Billing Within A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Insurance Policies, Procedures, And Regulations, Particularly In Regards To Medicare And Medicaid.
Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Various Departments And Insurance Companies.
