Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and talented Sr Director of Quality Systems to join our team and lead our quality systems strategy. As the Sr Director of Quality Systems, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our innovative medical devices and solutions.   1. Develop and implement quality systems strategy: As the Sr Director of Quality Systems, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall quality systems strategy for Masimo. This includes identifying areas for improvement, setting goals and objectives, and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  2. Ensure compliance with regulations and standards: It will be your responsibility to ensure that all quality systems and processes are in compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as FDA regulations, ISO standards, and other applicable requirements.
  3. Lead and manage the quality systems team: You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of quality professionals to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of quality systems. This includes providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to team members.
  4. Drive continuous improvement: A key responsibility of the Sr Director of Quality Systems is to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of quality systems. This includes identifying areas for improvement, implementing process improvements, and tracking and reporting on progress.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: As a member of the senior management team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality systems are integrated and aligned with overall business objectives. This may include working closely with R&D, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, and other departments.
  6. Develop and maintain quality metrics: You will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of quality systems and processes. This includes analyzing data and identifying trends to drive data-driven decision making.
  7. Ensure effective risk management: As a leader in quality systems, it will be your responsibility to ensure that risk management processes are in place and effective in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to product quality and safety.
  8. Oversee audits and inspections: You will be responsible for overseeing internal and external audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. This includes coordinating audit and inspection responses and implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Quality Systems Management: The Sr Director Of Quality Systems At Masimo Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Quality Systems In A Highly Regulated Industry, Such As Medical Devices. This Includes Experience In Developing And Implementing Quality Policies, Procedures, And Systems.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements For Medical Devices, Such As Fda Regulations, Iso Standards, And Other Relevant Guidelines. They Should Also Be Familiar With International Regulations And Have Experience Working With Regulatory Bodies.

  • Leadership Skills: As A Senior Leader, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills And The Ability To Manage And Mentor A Team. They Should Be Able To Motivate And Inspire Team Members To Achieve High Levels Of Performance And Foster A Culture Of Continuous Improvement.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Sr Director Of Quality Systems Should Have Strong Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities. They Should Be Able To Identify Potential Risks And Develop Effective Strategies To Mitigate Them. They Should Also Have A Proactive Approach To Problem-Solving And Be Able To Make Data-Driven Decisions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As They Will Be Responsible For Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicating With Stakeholders At All Levels. They Should Also Have The Ability To Present Complex Information In A Clear And Concise Manner.
