Job Description

Design, align, use and modify picosecond lasers and parametric oscillators and associated optical, mechanical and electronic components and devices. Opto-mechanical design and clinical prototyping of laser-based devices that deliver a laser pulse to a living matter. Design and assembly of custom prototypes consisting of optical, mechanical and electronic components. Administer high-energy picosecond laser pulses in visible and near-infrared spectral ranges: design, safety, applications, support of the research. Produce the design documentation for the laser-based device and its parts; Generation of complete engineering drawings and documentation of all design output. Interact with suppliers of the related products and materials. Develop and support engineering solution for manufacturing of laser biomedical device.

Job Qualifications

  • 5 years of the experience in design and manufacturing of the picosecond lasers, including their mechanical, optical and electronic components

  • Ability to bring the task to a complete solution through an active research and prototyping.

  • Experienced in standard engineering principles and techniques

  • Experience with pulsed laser technology.

  • Knowledge of QSR and GMP requirements, and ISO 9000 compliance
