Job Description

Work with Design Engineering to mitigate EMC issues during design phase. Creation of test reports, procedures, and control plans and guidelines. Determine the applicable standards to apply for a given unit-under-test. Performs and supervises the testing of products and determines compliance to agency standards. Maintain inventory of test samples and manage check-in/check-out procedures to ensure tested product is maintained for future use. Clearly communicate issues to design engineering and management both verbally and written.

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ yrs. experience with hardware design for EMI / EMC

  • Knowledge of electromagnetic field, circuit theory, and wave propagation

  • Experience in entire product compliance, testing, design improvements, report writing and report filing with governing bodies
