Job Description

This position is responsible for EMC pre-compliance and compliance testing. Supervise and hands-on the testing of products and determines compliance to agency standards. Determine the applicable standards to apply for a given unit-under-test. Creation of test reports, procedures, plans, and guidelines. Maintain inventory of test samples and manage check-in/check-out procedures to ensure tested product is maintained for future use. Perform EMC audits of existing product to ensure continued compliance. Determine proper means of configuring unit-under test to satisfy test modes.

Job Qualifications

  • 7+ yrs. experience with EMI / EMC pre-compliance and/or compliance testing

  • Proven experience testing devices with wireless capabilities (i.e. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC)

  • Knowledge in the EMC collateral standard IEC 60601-1-2 and particular standard for IEC 60601-2-49
