
Algorithm Engineer (Biomedical Optics)
Explore and develop new technologies as part of the core R&D team. Development and refinement of algorithms using parametric/non-parametric techniques for estimation of physiological parameters. Design and construction of tissue simulating optical phantoms for experimentation. Design and automate test set-ups for data collection and analysis. Tissue optics modeling and light transport simulations. Design experiments, laboratory and clinical data collection, data analysis and presentation. Data analysis and documentation such as test reports, test procedures and others as needed.
Proficient in Matlab or similar software for data processing, modeling and simulations
1-3 years of relevant experience in applied non-invasive optical spectroscopic techniques
Experienced in analysis of biological signals/optical spectroscopic data, a plus
Experienced in designing prototypes and algorithms for non-invasive sensing of physiological parameters
