Job Description

The Technical Advisor serves as a level of escalation for Dealer personnel to diagnose and repair issues after in-house resources have exhausted options. Utilize the Write-Up, Diagnostic & Repair processes to evaluate and recommend areas of improvement and long-term solutions. Serve as Technical Lead for Business Center, and mentor field personnel on technical and service operations issues. Act as liaison between dealer and corporate quality and engineering teams to communicate issues and assist with resolution. Audit and advise dealerships to ensure proper levels of essential tools and ensure all technicians have met the required levels of training.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience advising dealerships or in automotive technical service

  • Willing to travel primarily within the State of California and occasional domestic travel

  • ASE certification is a plus
