Voluntary Benefits Specialist

This role requires an individual who is passionate about providing competitive and comprehensive voluntary benefits solutions to our employee base. Ideally, the successful candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits and be an excellent communicator. The Voluntary Benefits Specialist will be responsible for delivering quality service to our employees, partners, and clients. They will be in charge of understanding our current voluntary benefit plans and developing new solutions to meet the needs of our diverse workforce. The ideal candidate will have a customer-first attitude and be able to identify potential areas of improvement in our current offerings. This position requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in a benefits-related role • Knowledge of employee benefit laws and regulations • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain voluntary benefit plans for Marsh & McLennan Companies' diverse employee base.
2. Provide quality customer service to employees, partners, and clients.
3. Identify potential areas of improvement in current benefit plans.
4. Explain employee benefit laws and regulations to staff members.
5. Facilitate enrollment of employees in voluntary benefit plans.
6. Proactively monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of voluntary benefit plans.
7. Keep up-to-date with relevant changes in employee benefit laws and regulations.
8. Maintain accurate records and reports related to employee benefit plans.
9. Assist with the development of employee education programs related to benefits.
10. Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
