  4. Analyze client data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved benefits offerings.
  5. Act as a subject matter expert for clients, providing in-depth knowledge and advice on employee benefits programs.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring their needs are met.
  7. Conduct client presentations and meetings to discuss recommendations and updates on benefits programs.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously enhance services and offerings.
  9. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  10. Train and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
  11. Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and marketing, to identify new business opportunities and contribute to business growth.
  12. Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers, negotiating rates and resolving any issues that may arise.
  13. Monitor and analyze the performance of benefits programs, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
  14. Communicate complex information and data in a clear and concise manner to clients and internal stakeholders.
  15. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Employee Benefits Consulting: A Senior Health & Benefits Consultant At Marsh & Mclennan Companies Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Employee Benefits Consulting, With A Strong Understanding Of Healthcare And Retirement Plans.

  • Advanced Knowledge Of Compliance And Regulatory Requirements: In Order To Effectively Advise Clients, A Senior Health & Benefits Consultant Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Complex Regulatory Environment Surrounding Employee Benefits, Including Knowledge Of Aca, Erisa, Hipaa, And Other Relevant Laws And Regulations.

  • Strong Communication And Presentation Skills: As A Senior Consultant, The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Benefits Information To Clients And Colleagues Is Crucial. This Includes Clear And Articulate Verbal And Written Communication, As Well As The Ability To Develop And Deliver Presentations To Diverse Audiences.
