Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Product Manager to join the Catastrophe Modeling team at Marsh & McLennan Companies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic problem-solver with excellent communication and organizational skills, able to work independently and collaboratively to support the development of innovative products and services.The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the catastrophe modeling industry and the ability to apply the latest technology to create innovative solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for creating and executing strategic product plans. The ideal candidate will have a combination of technical, business and leadership skills to help us drive our business forward. Required qualifications include:• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, business or a related field• 5+ years of experience in product management, product development, software engineering, or a related field• Proven track record of building and launching successful products and services• Experience working with catastrophe modeling tools such as AIR and RMS• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills• Ability to stay current with the latest technology and industry trends

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategic product plans to support the Catastrophe Modeling team.
  2. Research and analyze the latest technology and industry trends to identify innovative solutions.
  3. Manage the product development process from concept to launch.
  4. Work with stakeholders to define product requirements, scope, and objectives.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  6. Monitor and report on product performance metrics.
  7. Manage relationships with external vendors and partners.
  8. Stay informed of industry trends and competitive landscape.
  9. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the catastrophe modeling industry.
  10. Utilize catastrophe modeling tools such as AIR and RMS.
