
Product Manager, Catastrophe Modeling
We are looking for a talented and experienced Product Manager to join the Catastrophe Modeling team at Marsh & McLennan Companies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic problem-solver with excellent communication and organizational skills, able to work independently and collaboratively to support the development of innovative products and services.The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the catastrophe modeling industry and the ability to apply the latest technology to create innovative solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for creating and executing strategic product plans. The ideal candidate will have a combination of technical, business and leadership skills to help us drive our business forward. Required qualifications include:• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, business or a related field• 5+ years of experience in product management, product development, software engineering, or a related field• Proven track record of building and launching successful products and services• Experience working with catastrophe modeling tools such as AIR and RMS• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills• Ability to stay current with the latest technology and industry trends
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic product plans to support the Catastrophe Modeling team.
- Research and analyze the latest technology and industry trends to identify innovative solutions.
- Manage the product development process from concept to launch.
- Work with stakeholders to define product requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery.
- Monitor and report on product performance metrics.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners.
- Stay informed of industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the catastrophe modeling industry.
- Utilize catastrophe modeling tools such as AIR and RMS.
