
Operations Supply Chain –Engagement Manager
At Marsh & McLennan Companies, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Supply Chain Engagement Manager to drive operational excellence across our global supply chain operations. As a key member of our Supply Chain operations team, the Engagement Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve service levels, and drive innovation.The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, plus 6+ years of experience in supply chain management, operations, or related fields. An advanced degree such as an MBA or MS in Supply Chain is preferred. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, interact effectively with multiple stakeholders, and demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills. They must be able to create and execute strategies to meet customer demands, while adhering to our high standards for quality and safety.We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supply chain operations and has a proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategies to improve operational performance. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of global supply chain operations.
- Analyze customer demands and develop strategies to meet those requirements.
- Proactively identify and resolve supply chain issues.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to supply chain operations.
- Manage the budget and cost of supply chain operations.
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards in supply chain operations.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions to supply chain challenges.
- Develop and implement training programs for supply chain employees.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, customers, and stakeholders.
- Analyze data to identify trends and develop action plans to improve supply chain performance.
