  1. Develop and maintain data pipelines and architecture to support client projects and initiatives.
  2. Design and implement scalable data solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements.
  4. Conduct data analysis and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  5. Mentor and guide junior data engineers to ensure high quality and efficient delivery of data solutions.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data engineering to drive innovation within the organization.
  7. Monitor and optimize data performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  8. Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and procedures.
  9. Ensure data security and privacy are maintained at all times.
  10. Communicate with stakeholders and clients to understand their data needs and deliver solutions accordingly.
  11. Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure best practices are followed.
  12. Collaborate with other teams, such as data science and analytics, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  13. Drive continuous improvement and efficiency in data engineering processes.
  14. Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new data engineering team members.
  15. Contribute to the overall data strategy and help shape the direction of data engineering at Oliver Wyman.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Data Engineering: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Data Engineering Roles, With A Proven Track Record Of Designing And Implementing Complex Data Solutions.

  • Technical Expertise: The Candidate Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Data Architecture, Data Modeling, And Data Integration Techniques. Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Python, Java, Or Sql Is Also Essential.

  • Data Management Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Management Principles And Best Practices, Including Data Governance, Data Quality, And Data Security.

  • Leadership And Management Experience: As A Senior Lead Data Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Data Engineers And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills Are Essential.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Trends: The Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of The Latest Trends And Innovations In The Data Engineering Field, Such As Cloud Computing, Big Data, And Machine Learning. Knowledge Of The Insurance Or Financial Services Industry Is Also Preferred.
