- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business goals and objectives of Marsh & Mercer Canada.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand and anticipate the HR needs of the French-speaking team.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on a range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant HR laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Manage all aspects of the employee life cycle, from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding and succession planning.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits, compensation, and payroll processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement HR best practices to enhance the overall employee experience and drive organizational success.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Stay current on industry trends and developments in HR practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company-wide projects and initiatives.
- Lead and develop a team of HR professionals to ensure high-quality HR services are provided to all employees.
- Participate in the development and management of the HR budget.
- Represent the company in HR-related matters with external stakeholders, such as government agencies and labor unions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular training and development programs for managers and employees to enhance their HR knowledge and skills.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on HR-related matters to support business decisions.
- Handle any other HR-related duties as assigned by the company.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Bilingual Fluency In French And English, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Interact With French-Speaking Employees And Stakeholders.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Human Resources, With At Least 2 Years In A Management Or Leadership Role.
Strong Knowledge Of Canadian Employment Laws And Regulations, Particularly In Quebec.
Excellent Interpersonal And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Positive Working Relationships With Employees And Management.
