Job Description

Marsh & McLennan Companies is looking for an experienced Knowledge Manager to join its Retirement Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Fortune 500 company and help develop and maintain the knowledge infrastructure necessary to support our retirement services offerings. The ideal candidate for this position has a deep knowledge of information management, content management systems, and search engine optimization, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality, reliable services. They are able to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate with other teams to ensure knowledge is effectively managed.The Knowledge Manager will be responsible for managing and developing a variety of knowledge assets, including maintaining and updating existing content, developing new content, and leveraging technology to ensure the knowledge base is both comprehensive and up-to-date. Additionally, the Knowledge Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing knowledge management initiatives and processes. To be successful in this role, applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Information Management, Computer Science, or Library Science, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in knowledge management. Additionally, candidates should have a working knowledge of content management systems, search engine optimization, and metadata standards. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and develop knowledge assets, including maintaining and updating existing content, developing new content, and leveraging technology to ensure the knowledge base is comprehensive and up-to-date.
  2. Develop and implement knowledge management initiatives and processes.
  3. Utilize content management systems, search engine optimization, and metadata standards to ensure efficient retrieval of knowledge assets.
  4. Collaborate with other teams to ensure knowledge is effectively managed.
  5. Monitor the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives and processes.
  6. Assist with training team members on new knowledge management processes and initiatives.
  7. Identify opportunities to improve knowledge management processes.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
